Three Decades ago a small sweet shop started by Late K.S.Thirupathi Raja in the then Metropolis of Chennai, India, has now flowered into Ninety five branches covering the length and breadth of Chennai city, its neighbouring places such as Kanchipuram, Erode, Madurai, Trichy, Coimbatore, Tripur and the states of Karnataka, Pondicherry and Delhi. M/s. Adyar Ananda Bhavan Sweets & Snacks is now well established and firmly in saddle as one of the leading and exclusive sweets and savouries manufacturer in South India . The driving force behind the concern now is the two brothers Mr. K.T. Venkatesan and Mr. K.T. Srinivasa Raja to whom the baton of rich sweet tradition has been passed on by their late father K.S.Thirupathi Raja.

Our sweets and snacks range from the melt-in-your-mouth Mysorepak from the south, the multi-variety Malaipeda of the North, the mouth-watering Badam Halwa of the East or the timeless dry fruits of the West. Our products are synonymous with traditional taste that you know and love while pioneering in the use of the latest techniques in manufacturing.

If you are vegetarian or you just like vegetarian Indian food in general you will love this restaurant. Very authentic flavors and honest cooking. It is primarily South Indian food but the menu is diverse and has lots of options including Indo-Chinese and North Indian. We ordered mysore rawa masala dosa and the South Indian thali. Both were very good.

Even in regular weekday evening, it was fully packed and an average of 15 mins wait time. Same taste as we tasted in India. Service needs to be improved though. We were given a corner table and it's tough to bring it someone's attention if we are in need of something. Food quality is amazing. We didn't try the snacks though. Definitely we will visit more
